Thanks to the “Real Housewives of  Orange County”, it seems like everyone is talking about the “push present”.  A push present is a gift, often a piece of jewelry, a new father gives to a new mother when she gives birth to their child. I will admit, my husband brought me a ring that I had been wanting after the difficult birth of our second child, but we didn’t call it a push present. I just thought he was smart!
