HIGHLIGHTS: Around 1:00 A.M. on Friday, police in Sweden got a call about banging, screaming, and crying coming from inside a house. But when the cops got there, they found the noise was from . . . a family frustrated by putting together IKEA FURNITURE. The parents were struggling to put it together, woke up their baby, and it started crying.
HIGHLIGHTS: A new study has found there's ONE word that has the same universal meaning in pretty much EVERY language. And it's . . . "Huh?" Researchers traveled to remote villages on several continents, and found that EVERYONE had a version of "Huh" they used to get someone to clarify or repeat something.
HIGHLIGHTS: A former employee is suing the website Ashley Madison . . . which is for people looking to CHEAT on their spouses. The woman says they hired her to write 1,000 FAKE PROFILES for sexy women . . . and she hurt her wrists trying to get that done under her three-week deadline. She's suing for $20 million.
HIGHLIGHTS: A guy in Wales was convicted of shoplifting seven years ago, but FLED instead of serving 12 months of community service. He's been on the run ever since. But the police FINALLY caught him a few weeks ago . . . when he and his fiancée entered a newspaper contest to win a FREE WEDDING. He's been sentenced to one month in prison.
HIGHLIGHTS: TYLER FARR has a two-pronged strategy for making sure he has a long career. The first one is to write his own songs, and the second is to FIND great songs written by others. He says, quote, "I try my best to follow in the footsteps of artists who've had long careers. They were songwriters, but not only did they write songs, they knew what kind of songs to pick as well."
HIGHLIGHTS: THOMAS RHETT would like his marriage to last a long time. So, he brings his wife on the road as much as possible . . . and he refuses to "be all over" girls in his videos. He says, quote, "It's not me to kiss some girl in a music video. It's just not really what I do. That would be awkward."

Need MORE proof that radio is still taking on ALL CHALLENGERS and smacking them down? According to a new study by Nielsen, radio is STILL the number one way people discover new music.
48% of people say radio is the top way they find new music. 10% say they find music mostly from tips from friends and relatives . . . 7% of people mostly find music on YouTube.
HIGHLIGHTS: On Sunday, police in Georgia busted a drunk couple having SEX in a pickup truck in a Waffle House parking lot. They were SO drunk that when the cops busted them, the woman tried to put a CHEESEBURGER on her FOOT like a sandal. They were both arrested for public drunkenness and loitering.
HIGHLIGHTS: You know those exaggerated job titles that people use to make regular jobs sound FANCIER? Here are the worst: A paperboy is a "media distribution officer" . . . a street sweeper is a "highway environmental hygienist" . . . and a window washer is "transparency enhancement facilitator".
HIGHLIGHTS: TVGuide.com recently conducted a poll to determine the most popular and least popular new TV shows of the fall season. And after more than 350,000 votes, Fox's "Sleepy Hollow" was named the MOST popular. ABC's "Lucky 7", which has already been canceled, was the LEAST popular.
HIGHLIGHTS: An eight-year-old in Bakersfield, California named Jaxon Evans has been running a Kool-Aid stand for the past few months . . . to raise money to buy Christmas presents for HOMELESS kids. He's made about $1,600 so far, and wants to make it to $2,500 by Black Friday, when he's heading to Toys R Us and buying as much stuff as possible.
HIGHLIGHTS: You may have noticed a slightly thinner MIRANDA LAMBERT at Wednesday's CMAs. She decided to slim down in honor of a big birthday coming up. She said, quote, "I felt that I should get a little more healthy. I'm going to be 30 on Sunday. I thought, if I get ahead of it I won't have to work so hard later in life."

HIGHLIGHTS: A bakery in New York is about to unveil the THANKSGIVING DONUT. It's a pumpkin-flavored donut stuffed with turkey, cranberry sauce, and GRAVY. There's also a sweet potato donut stuffed with toasted marshmallow filling.
HIGHLIGHTS: On Monday, 13 Marines were returning from Afghanistan. And before their American Airlines flight from Chicago to San Diego took off, the airline upgraded six of them to open seats in first class. Then, seven first-class passengers opted to give up THEIR seats too, so all 13 soldiers could sit together.
HIGHLIGHTS: According to a new survey, 55% of Americans say it's UNACCEPTABLE for Christmas music to start before Thanksgiving. And the older you are, the more likely you are to hate early Christmas music.
HIGHLIGHTS: In a new survey, 46% of people say their MOTHER is the nicest member of their family. 14% went with their father, 8% went with their sisters, and brothers got so few votes . . . they weren't even included in the results.
HIGHLIGHTS. GEORGE STRAIT was named Entertainer of the Year at last night's CMAs. Nobody dominated . . . but BLAKE SHELTON and MIRANDA LAMBERT were chosen as the top male and female artists, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE won Duo of the Year, and KACEY MUSGRAVES won Best New Artist.
KACEY MUSGRAVES was asked how she can tell if something she's written is solid. She said, quote, "If it makes me feel something immediately, I know it's a good song. Good songs will be hits. Truthful songs will be hits.
"If you pour yourself into it and people connect with it . . . and you're not just doing something because radio might like it but because it's natural to you . . . then it's undeniably a hit." (Kacey won the Best New Artist award at last night's CMAs.)
