Not to put anything on non-moms, nothing wrong with that at all!! I am just saying....that moms can relate...to each other, even when we don't know each other!
I recall when Rissa was still in diapers, getting ready to move to training pants and potty training, being in the diaper isle at the store and striking up a conversation about potty training and certain products with another woman...a mom...that I didn't know at all, but we talked and laughed about it for a good 10 minutes.
We all go thru stuff with our kids and can relate to other moms going thru the same thing.
This actually came to mind after purusing my FB page and seeing that my sister in law had posted pictures of her little guy - a big 3 year old - with a bandage on his forehead and blood down his face. He had taken a fall on a sidewalk...a hard one obviously...and ended up getting 5 stitches in his forehead.
Poor guy. And Poor mom too. Thats not easy to go thru on the Moms end of things either.
Ella had fallen down some stairs when she was around 2 and ended up having to get some stitches in her forehead ( yeah, she has a slight scar still) It was only 4 stitches, but still....I recall them all. She was at an urgent care and of course I stayed with her trying to keep her calm and ended up singing her bedtime song to her to calm her down while the doctors put the stitches in ( they were incredibly nice to both her and me!). And afterwards, she had a stack of stickers to play with and I had a good cry on the phone with my Mom!! :)
But its funny how we can all share the feelings and relate, even if we aren't just right there.
Its just a Mom thing...and its a good one.
