Now, I know its just the "MOM' in me, but this story really hit home with me.

 Some kids ask for Legos, others a train. But Dustin Kruse, 4, of New Berlin, Wisc., wanted something extra special this Christmas -- a toilet.

Dustin Kruse loves toilets so much that it prompted one local company to grant the child's wish for a top-of-line, double-flusher."They did it right after his fourth birthday. Delivered, installed it, everything," said Michele Kruse on Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Wisconsin's Morning News.Kruse said her son is so fascinated with toilets that he wanted to ask Santa for a particular type of Kohler toilet, a dual-flush brand that allows people to either make a full or a half flush.Dustin encountered his $380 porcelain dream during a trip to the Kohler Design Center where he was able to touch the high-end model.

"He flushed it," Michele Kruse told the Journal Sentinel, "and he's like, 'Mom wouldn't that be great if I could have this? Could you imagine all of the things I could do?' And then he's looking up in the air and he's thinking. He's like, 'I am asking Santa Claus for this.'"

And being the good mom she is, she went out of her way to make sure that her boy got his wish!!

NOW....here is my thinking.....He said imagine all the things I could do!!!  Well, obviously there are basically two things to do with a toilet....UNLESS you are a 4 year old boy!!!  I am thinking that the Roto Rooter guys are going to be at that house non stop now....he'll be flushing EVERYTHING down that potty!!!  All I can say, is watch out Kitty!!!!

I have already mentioned that I do really like commericials...good ones are great!  And too, the only real reason for watching the super bowl, other then to be with friends or family for it, is to see the commercials.  Ad agencies spend extra money on the creative to get a talked about ad...and of course the money for just one is crazy.  So that usually lends itself to some very good ones....usually!

This year tho, everyone seems to be "leaking" or at least super-teasing their upcoming ads for the game, rather then just waiting for the big day.  And I admit...it has worked on me somewhat!  I have already watched the Honda ad featuring Mathew Broderick as Ferris Bueller knock off.  It did make me laugh and reminded me of the classic movie...altho out of 2 and a half minutes....probably only about 30 seconds shows the car...the kicker being at the end of the spot.  AND....I did fall for a teaser too showing a Pepsi commerical...a coke guy trying to secretly buy a pepsi....only to win Pepsi for life and it features Regis in it too.  But now I just saw where Dannon is going to have a spot....and honestly, I think I will wait now.  No more peeking until SUnday.....just more fun that way! :)

Our family cat ( well one of them...there are 2) is Teacup.  We adopted her from a shelter and I picked her out at the time because she seemed to be regal-ish...she was sitting on a ledge just looking over the other cats all playing together like she was above it.  And for some reason....I liked it?? ( Like I wanted a snooty cat???) 

However, what I think I thought of as regal...above it all...was actually her being...kinda slow. :)  And I mean it in a good way...but this kitty is going thru her 9 lives I think!  First of all, the end of her tail is bent....like the very tip of it.  I am guessing that it got caught in something when she was small.....and as I get to know the cat more and more....I am sticking with that thought!!

Teacup is very...curious.  And you know the old saying!  First...she ventured out into our back yard and into the garage one day while I was bringing the groceries into the house.  I hadn't noticed that she was out....until I pushed the button to close the garage door...and it got stuck about half way down.  Because Teacup was squished in the door at the top.  All I could see was her feet hanging out.  I somehow managed to get her out of the door and she flopped to the ground in what I figured would be her final moments.  30 minutes later she was up and running around again....but avoiding the garage!

A few weeks later....I am moving the laundry from the washer to the dryer....and don't notice that she is in the room...or that she has decided to check out the dryer!!  I turn it on and start to leave when I hear a huge thump coming from the dryer.  My first thought was that I hadn't put any shoes in the dryer....thats the kind of noise it was making...and I almost thought about just letting it go.....but I decided to stop it and check.  Good thing I did....inside the dryer holding on for dear life to the clothes was Teacup.  I got her out of  the dryer and I haven't seen her go in that room again!!

Altho I must admit....she was pretty fluffy looking that night!!!

So at my best guess....Teacup has about 6 more lives....but I am not so sure that I have that many nerves left!!!! :)
